An accurate 3D digital model of the site is created using survey data overlaid with the proposed design information. It is an accurate topographical 3D model and can include existing and proposed structures, hard landscaping and buildings.

The models are often used to inform and review the design process, to check levels and topography, and to explore the site in virtual reality.
